Evangeline Goddard was the only daughter born to a family of nobles and was whisked away to Everthorne to be trained as a Mage. After her graduation she met Weller Cormac, a Knight in the King's service. They quickly fell in love and, after her parents' consent, were married. Within a year Asher was born.

He grew up mostly in the care of his grandparents and was raised to be a proper noble (for the most part). By the age of ten he was riding horses with such grace and gusto that his grandparents began to enter him into riding competitions. Word travelled around the city of Reyse of a young man who could outride some of the best sportsmen and he earned quite a name for himself.

By fifteen, Asher was quite the rider and along with the medals he'd accumulated, he'd gotten to be quite cocky, the fame had obviously gone to his head. But wouldn't anyone would get an inflated ego with so many adoring fans fawning over you?

Asher just recently turned nineteen and passed testing. He's still well-known for his riding abilities and figures Everthorne will be an excellent opportunity to show off his talents.

A year after graduating from Everthorne, Asher is still uncertain what he's doing with his life. He's still riding professionally but it takes a backseat to his magehood when he's needed. He's still very close with Jet, Vienne, Kadin and Lucius and tries to keep in touch with them even when distance keeps them from regular communication. He's also still very close with Bryn (not as close as he'd like but he understands that patience is a virtue) and tries his hardest to be there for her. Of course, he's still somewhat irresponsible and prone to moments of acting like a child, he enjoys nothing more than running off to do something stupid with Jet only to come home and pretend nothing happened and of course that scar has always been there.

Since earning his title as a mage he's found himself talking to his usually distant mother more often, after graduating she took to warming up to him as they were both mages now). He's enjoyed the attention, nonetheless. In fact, with his standing as a sportsman and his newly-aquired title, he's been enjoying all his extra attention a little too much. (And maybe even gets a little cocky when it comes to breaking the hearts of his admirers: "It's quite the compliment but I'm most certainly spoken for~")

Asher hasn't changed much since leaving the academy and he's accepted his role as a mage and taken on all the responsibilities with few complaints thus far.

Asher is charming, polite and quite the flirt. He's very proper and knows the "correct" way to show a lady a good time. He's pompous and full of himself but under all the layers of ego, he can be a pretty nice guy.
